dc.description.abstract | The industry of accommodating students of higher institutions of learning in Uganda has become popular due to the increasing number of institutions of higher learning, hostel operators need to be vigilant and aware of customers‟ needs and demands. As such there is a need to acknowledge both the internal and external factors that influence occupancy rates in order to gain a sustainable competitive advantage. Hostel owners/operators and hostel organizations can use this information to better market their hostel and it will help them to determine which amenities they will need to have to meet customer demands. | en_US |
